Kindergarten Registration for 2024/25

Kindergarten registration for next school year is open until November 27th.  Children who will reach their fifth birthday by December 31st, 2024 are eligible to attend Kindergarten in the 2024/25 school year.  Please contact your Teaching Principal for registration information.

At Kelsey School, on Sturgeon Creek Colony, we have learned about Truth and Reconciliation Day.  We are grateful for the lives we are blessed with, at home with our families, and school staff who care about us. The Life cycle of a butterfly ~ Omega School~

Omega students are learning about the life cycle of a butterfly first hand. We watched caterpillars eat a bunch first. One day, we found one caterpillar in its chrysalis. By the end of the day, all five of our caterpillars were in cocoons! We will wait excitedly to see the beautiful butterflies emerge!

Prairie Blossom students lending a helping hand at the Christmas Cheer Board

Middle school and High school students attended the Christmas Cheer Board. The Cheer Board relies on groups such as schools to prepare food hampers to many needy families during the holidays. The students genuinely enjoyed the experience knowing that an hour of their day was so meaningfully used to make a difference for 250 Winnipeg families.

Elementary students at Prairie Blossom School

At Prairie Blossom School, we are happy to share how our elementary students are engaged in this year’s reading program. They feel interested and motivated to keep a daily reading log to see how many books they will have read by the end of June.

Creative Plasticine Art by Meadow Lane students

Students took inspiration from the illustrations of Canadian writer and illustrator Barbara Reid for an art project. Barbara uses plasticine, a type of modelling clay, to create relief images which are photographed for her books. Students chose an image from a Barbara Reid picture book, and then created their version of it.
